PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL IN PERU

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

We hope that God is blessing your lives and the hard work that you are doing for the Lord.

Here in Lima, it is still cold and many are affected by the harsh humidity. During the month of August, we began classes on Tuesdays in Oscar Bonilla’s
house for the new converts. We can see that God is blessing Oscar and his family because of his great love and service for the Lord. The subjects that are
taught in these classes are: The Bible: Our Authority, Plan of Salvation, Prayer, Christ is the Head of the Church, and the Organization of the Church. After they finish this series of classes, we like to give
them a small certificate that states that they have completed these classes. Our desire is that they learn about the Bible and the will of God and be able to teach others also. These people who attend these classes on Tuesdays have a great desire to learn more about the Bible. Please keep these new converts in your prayers.

The young people had a reunion the third Sunday of the month in which our brother, Oscar, gave a small lesson. After the study, they participated in some games and had a good afternoon together. The children also had a reunion the last Sunday of the month in which they watched a video together and ate lunch together.

We pray that you will always keep us in your prayers and for the growth of the church here in San Borja in number and spirituality.

We have heard of the natural disaster of the hurricane Katrina and we are very saddened to hear of this. The people affected will all be in our prayers, thoughts, and in our hearts.
